Essential Job Functions

Lead the execution of strategic and tactical plans that drive business development, portfolio quality, and financial performance

Build and execute strategies for high-value retention, expansion, and acquisition of commercial relationships

Partner across business lines to deliver a seamless, team-based client experience

Leverage your local network and centers of influence to identify, pursue, and win new opportunities

Model unwavering integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment

Champion the bank’s lending principles: asset quality first, profitability second, growth third

Manage and develop team members through coaching, hiring, performance management, and career advancement

Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement

Embody and promote the bank’s mission, values, and service standards

Maintain consistent attendance, reliability, and adherence to bank policies and procedures

Protect customers and bank assets through disciplined operational and risk practices

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field / equivalent experience

5+ years of business development and leadership experience in a financial institution

7+ years of lending experience with strong credit acumen

Proven track record of consistently achieving business development goals and financial targets

Demonstrated success managing, leading, and coaching banking professionals

Comprehensive knowledge of bank products, services, lending/fair lending, collateral management, and regulatory requirements
